Special Auction Performance with Dinner and Theater!!!-  May 3, 2008, Milwaukie Center (still only $40.00!!!)

Our fourth annual auction in partnership with the Friends of the Milwaukie Center enables us to raise some of the overhead costs needed for our youth theatre camp, 4 annual productions and business/office expenses.  The second benefit of this annual event is our ability to help the Friends of the Milwaukie Center raise funds for their different programs including Meals on Wheels and other recreational activities and services for senior members of our community.  We hope you will join us for this very special evening.

Some auction items already donated include theatre tickets, dinner certificates to several nice restaurants in town, overnight stays at various boutique hotels, and a Widmer party pack.

Two Plays by James McClure

It's Maynard, Texas, 1974, and the women in one case --- the men in the other --- from three different marriages are hanging out, gossiping, confiding, commiserating, and just plain setting around with one another --- the girls most of the afternoon, the boys most of the night. Maynard's a dead-end town on the edge of a desert, the kinda place there's always something happening and nothing seems to change much. What changes, though, is the depth of insight and understanding that these often very funny, often very desperate, always overly-familiar people learn about one another, and share with their audience.
